Here are a few pictures from this summers 2013 Freya lingerie shoot.

We shot this in Soho at night. I knew shooting a gorgeous girl in lingerie would cause a bit of a stirr..but didn’t think it would be too much out of the ordinary. This was true for most of the shoot as the backstreets of soho have seen it all. However, in Liecester Square and Piccadilly Circus it was very, very different. The tourists couldn’t believe their eyes. We gathered some massive crowds and at one point almost brought Picadilly Circus to a standstill. You can see some of it in the behind the scenes film below.

Ok for me as I have my back to the spectators when shooting – much more intimidating for the very brave Annabeth. My hat goes off to her.

All in all – an adventure. It’s kind of fun pushing the boundaries sometimes.

Campaign shoots are a serious business..of course. You want to get it right. Lots of planning and thought and meetings and castings…I could go on….go into the preparations.

Now when that is done..hopefully on the day… there is time for a bit of banter and some fun.

The Ellesse SS13 shoot was like this. Working with the very funny and talented art director, Jonathan Armstrong, here are 2 of the around 30 images we did over 2 days.

Jobs don’t come much better than this. Shot in December in Cape Town, the  SS13 campaign for Dune Shoes is simple, stylish..and I think beautiful.

Using morning light (up at 3am!) with a little bit of flash to give that super-saturated feel, here are two of the many shots we did over two days.
